Summer Cats is a new addition to Sumberland Records’ already awesome lineup. The Melborne band earns its spot next to such Shoegaze revivalists as The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart with enough noise, jangling guitars and twee sentiment to keep you completely charmed. Thankfully, the “cuteness” feels genuine and never comes across as forced as with Bishop Allen. So far, their American shows are limited to the West Coast. If you’re lucky enough to live in California or Oregon, be sure to check them out.

My only criticism is the bro in the Ed Hardy tee.
