This Post Is About Shirtless-Sleeves.

Let’s face it; I’m always right. Always. Except maybe about shitting yourself in the name of fashion. But besides that; I’m always right. In the beginning of 2009 I blogged about shirtless-sleeves. In 2010, Givenchy will make my dream for a better fashion world come true. Here’s one for spitting in the face of practicality.

This Post Is About Birds.

Yeah Right Radio now has a twitter. Don’t worry, I don’t actually expect you to care.

P.S. I promise not to twitter while “on the toilet,” being “at da club,” or “hanging wif mu gurls.”

This Post Is About You.

Just so you know, I get a daily list of all the searches that are entered into the search bar on my blog. Of course, all the searches are anonymous but I feel like this brings us closer together. It helps me know what you really want to see on my page.  Judging by the reoccurring searches, I’m well aware that many of you are into, “women shitting,” “boys in gold underwear,”  ”poopie,” and “Ezra Koenig.” I’ll try to deliver on those requests.

This Post Is About The Raveonettes

Since The Pains of Being Pure at Heart’s newest EP, Higher Than The Stars, came out this Tuesday, is there anything else to live for? Surprisingly, yes. At least for 12 more days. On October 6th, the next Raveonettes full-length, In And Out Of Control, will be available. To be honest, I really wasn’t expecting to like this album as much as I did.   The whole album blends topics like violence, rape, suicide, and death with the usual fuzzed-out, high reverb sound of their previous albums; but they do it with grace and a level of beauty that shows a deeper sense of melody. You may have heard “Last Dance” or “Suicide” but the album carries some great tracks that will inevitably draw less attention. I’m sure “Boys Who Rape”" will be overlooked, but it’s definitely worth a listen (or many listens).  Support the Danes and pick up a copy.

This Post Is About The End Of The Summer.

How was the end of your Summer? Did you go to the beach? I did. Me and my girls drove my VW Jetta to the Jersey Shore. It was sooo fun. We listened to a Jack Johnson mix cd and sang like the whole way there. We went to the boardwalk and I got a henna tattoo of a butterfly. I think it shows that I’m an individual. You know… like unique? Later that night me and my girls met some reallllly hott guys. They were from Long Island and called it “Strong Island” which was sooooo clever.

I wanted to do something to remember my summer by. Something that would last longer than my henna butterfly. I decided to get my bellybutton pierced!! It hurt but it looks soooo sexy.

I’m sad that the summer is over and I’m back in school. At least it’s my senior year and next year I’ll be in college and be able to join a sorority. I can’t wait.

This Post Is About Mom Butt/Fashion.

That’s Tyra Banks sporting some Mom-Butt. I’m pretty sure it’s the next big thing in fashion followed by large underwear and orthopedic shoes.

This Post Is About Swimming.

Have you gone swimming this summer? Have you gone swimming in Brooklyn? Have you gone swimming in Brooklyn in a dumpster?

The Post Is About Pains.

Last Friday I saw The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart at the South Street Seaport. This show may or may not have been a Lookbook convention.

This Post Is About Summer Cats.

Summer Cats is a new addition to Sumberland Records’ already awesome lineup. The Melborne band earns its spot next to such Shoegaze revivalists as The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart with enough noise, jangling guitars and twee sentiment to keep you completely charmed. Thankfully, the “cuteness” feels genuine and never comes across as forced as with Bishop Allen. So far, their American shows are limited to the West Coast. If you’re lucky enough to live in California or Oregon, be sure to check them out.

My only criticism is the bro in the Ed Hardy tee.
